Cherokee are everywhere

Reposting a post from Sea Leaf about my book, The Law of Blood, I found out someone I’d taught tango to years ago was part Cherokee. Her direct descendent was in The Trail of Tears by John Ehle, an excellent book. His name was Goins, his real Cherokee name was longer. I asked her if she was on the rolls of the Eastern Band and she said no. Interesting how having Native American blood is no longer such a bad thing. I don’t have a drop but have studied Tsalagi mythology extensively, plus been the Cherokee, NC most of my life. Here’s a link to my book about #cherokee https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08R7TSP2F?asin=B08R7TSP2F&revisionId=41b38a16&format=1&depth=1
